‘Goodbye Child’, ‘The Detour’ actors costar

Iran actors Pouriya Poursorkh and Mehraveh Sharifinia costar in new Iranian film ‘The Mediterranean’.

The flick directed by Hadi Hajatmand will have these two ifilm series actors who appeared in ifilm series ‘Goodbye Child’ and ‘The Detour’.

Sharifinia played a starring role in ifilm series ‘Goodbye Child’ which is about Leila and Morteza who are a young married couple eager to start a family, but unfortunately they cannot have a child of their own. Because of Morteza’s past criminal record, they are not able to legally adopt a child either. Out of desperation, they decide to try all options to have a baby, even if it comes to some illegal actions.

Poursorkh also starred in ifilm series ‘The Detour’ following the story of a scientist who lives in a faraway island and wants to abduct a number of Iranian intellectuals in a bid to try some of his experiments on them. Trying to manipulate the navigation system of an airplane carrying the intellectuals, he manipulates another plane by mistake. Now he has to take care of a bunch of odd people with unusual behavior.

Shoot for ‘The Mediterranean’ will kick off on August 10.
